SUN SEASON

In the Cascade Foothills, the days are marked by sunshine. Thousands of acres of orchards with 40 varieties of apples, 20 kinds of pears, cherries, peaches, nectarines are setting fruit or already being harvested.  Luscious fresh-picked cherries are available by the bag or box.  Vibrant greens and peas are being plucked for salads and the farmer's markets are open.  Events like The Big Chill Ciderfest in Cashmere on July 28 are on the horizon.  It's a time to play, stay and celebrate the amazing, edible landscape in North Central Washingtron.
