Welcome to Cascade Farmlands

Welcome to Fall in Cascade Farmlands

It's that time of year when the harvest, the colors, the crisp evenings and delicious tastes fill your senses with the bounty of autumn. Traffic has died down just a little here in North Central Washington. What better time to grab one of our free driving maps and make the amazingly scenic journey through our part of the state?

Driving Highway 2 from Seattle, you will marvel at mountainsides covered in golds and reds of vine maple. Once here, check out dozens of varieties of apples, pears, squash and more. Hiking is ideal in the fall with cooler days and bug-free vistas. In October, Leavenworth beckons with three weekends of Oktoberfest and other Bavarian delights. November brings the first serious chill to the table, along with yummy offerings of apple and pumpkin pie and holiday feasts.

As always, you¹ll find charming farms, historic orchards, roadside fruit stands overflowing with seasonal fruits/veggies and talented culinary chefs presenting fresh local ingredients in every meal. Small artisan breweries, cideries and wineries showcase award winning ales, ciders and wines many within sight of the parent orchard. In Cascade Farmlands, the connection between the people and the landscape is strong and vibrant. Let us be your guide to the farmlands and communities of Leavenworth, Cashmere, Wenatchee, Entiat, Chelan,Twisp, Methow, Oroville and Okanogan!
