Named for the Y junction of Highway 2 and 97, The Big Y Cafe opened for business in 1939 and has become a meeting place for the community, families and travelers.

Breakfast is served at any time and it's full of variety like omelets and scrambles, benedict eggs, crepes, hotcakes, & county fries.

For lunch find hot and cold sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, wraps and burgers, wine and beer.
At dinnertime, add pasta, country style entrees, and of course, desserts!

Known for their "home style cooking," fresh pies are made daily at the Big Y Cafe.
Avis is the baker, and in the three decades she's been at it, Avis has won just about every dessert contest North Central Washington can serve up. This time of year, Avis is transforming local fruit like blueberries, strawberries and peaches into pies and other pastries.
