Spring Barrel Tasting
MAY 21-22: TASTE FUTURE RELEASES FROM THE BARREL
Like eating cherries from the tree or bread just out of the oven, Chelan's Barrel Tasting weekend offers the ability savor something right from the source. It's also your first opportunity to taste the next great releases.
Lake Chelan is the 11th AVA (American Viticultural Area) in Washington State. An AVA is a federally designated area with unique climate, soil and physical features that distinguishes it from surrounding areas. The idea is that what is produced within an AVA is specific to that place and would not be the same grown somewhere else. There are 25 wineries within the Lake Chelan AVA which begins with the town of Chelan and continues up-lake for 12 miles.
Cheers, to Lake Chelans AVA's including unique dining opportunities and beautiful settings amidst vinyards with views of the lake!
