Orchard conditions are ideal in Cascade Farmlands, but there is something special about the fruit grown near Entiat.  The angle of the hills, the morning sun, the geographic shelter from storms, the breeze that fans heated air through the trees at night--all combine to create fruit that's extra sweet & more intensely flavored.

Now that it's PEACH SEASON, you can delight in the Entiat harvest at Trader John's. Known as freestone for how the flesh easily separates from the pit, many varieties of peaches are ripening now allowing you to choose a favorite, whether you're cooking, jamming or eating.  Find Coral Star, red globe, white, Z-Sweet, Alberta and donut peaches as they come off the trees in the next month or so.  This summer's hotter weather has accelerated the harvest by about ten days. So don't wait!  Please plan to pick up peaches now.
