Top wine makers from around the Pacific Northwest and BC recently competed in the Great Northwest Wine Competition. Cheers to Cascade Farmlands member Jones of Washington that took home best in class for their 2013 Pinot Gris, Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley. At $13 dollars a bottle, the wine has the aroma of "asian pear, nectarine skin, starfruit, anise and talcum powder which transcend into flavors of hard nactarine and pear with a tingle of pink grapefruit in the finish." Congratulations Victor Panencia of Jones. Click to open a bottle from one of the 1901 cases.
